Frequently Asked Questions

Where is Cassia currently located?

Our new permanent home is at 58 Albert Street in Auckland CBD from 1st September 2026

Will my pop-up voucher be valid at the new venue?

Absolutely. All Cassia pop-up gift vouchers and bookings transition seamlessly to our new home at 58 Albert Street.

Do I need a reservation?

We highly recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. While we do keep a small number of tables available for walk-ins each evening, reservations are the best way to guarantee your spot.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes, we love a spontaneous dinner decision. Limited walk-in tables are available nightly, subject to availability.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?

Absolutely. Our team is experienced in accommodating a wide range of dietary requirements and allergies. Please let us know when booking so we can take care of you properly.

Is parking available?

We do not have designated car parks. SAP tower on Wyndham Street has a Wilson carpark. There are limited paid council car parks on Wyndham street and neighbouring streets. Te Waihorotiu train station and Britomart station are a block away on either side of the restaurant

Will the menu stay the same?

You’ll still find many Cassia favourites, including our legendary lamb chops, alongside new dishes that our team is creating.

Can I book for groups or private dining?

Yes. We welcome group bookings and enquiries for private dining and functions. Whether it’s an intimate celebration, corporate dinner, or long lunch that turns into a longer dinner, our team would love to help. Our three private rooms seat 14 guests each and combine to fit 50 guests. Whole venue hire is also available for 100 -120 guests. Please contact us directly to book.

What kind of dining experience can I expect?

Cassia blends bold modern Indian flavours with warm hospitality, tandoori cooking, and a dining room designed for lingering a little longer than planned.
